Sleep problems due to Naproxen?

Lately I've been having weird sleeping pattern and I wanted to know if this was common near taking Naproxen. I wasn't prescribed Naproxen but a family member was, so I enjoy been taking it for swelling in my mouth due to dental issues. Ever since I've been taking the drug I've been having weird sleeping problems. Like I would sleep for 13 or 14 hours at a time and very soon I can't sleep at all. I've been tired but it's almost 8 in the morning and I still can't sleep and I quality like I'll never be able to sleep. Is this coincidence or is this because of the Naproxen? Not sure if this changes anything, but I guess you're supposed to filch 1 pill every 12 hours, but instead I've been missing every other dose, so i've just been taking 1 every 24 hours.
Best Answer: I suggest speaking to your dentist or at most minuscule a pharmacist about the swelling in your mouth due to dental issues. Hopefully they are recommend a medication more helpful to you than Naproxen. I can't speak I have always followed my doctors' advise exactly. I do NOT expect to lecture you, but you probably know it can be harmful to take a med prescribed for someone else (although I enjoy done it once or twice in my life). I checked the web and Naproxen seems to enjoy a lot of possible side effects, but none that I saw were related to sleeping patterns. However, we adjectives react to drugs differently. If your changed sleepin patterns started at the same time as starting Naproxen, perchance there is a connection. Here is a link on Naproxen where on earth you can check out the side effects. Best wishes. http://www.drugs.com/naproxen.html
