can anyone recommend pure remedies for anxiety ?
I have tried two different anti depressants and suffered the most awful side effects coming off them.
I am sick of polluting my body with these drugs and want to try a more thriving option.
my main problem is that i worry profoundly, i get very anxious that i have said or done the wrong piece, etc etc.
Is there a herbal product that may help with this?
I enjoy very low self esteem and tell myself all the time how stupid i am etc going on for the things that i have said .
The anti depressants did help in a agency but i hated taking them and i wanted me back if you know wht i niggardly but without this awful anxiety.
Can any one offer some advice?
I try to own a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
Best Answer: 5htp is a good alternative to a conventional antidepressant. Take 50mg at night near a carbo snack or some milk. I've been taking this for almost 2 years now and it's been more successful than the SSRI I was on and doesn't have the side effects. Passiflora is a herbal treatment which is also very effectual. It will calm you without causing sleepiness. If you're suffering from anxiety attacks, afterwards propranolol (you'll need to get it prescribed from your doctor) is excellent. It's not addictive and you won't get side effects at low dosage. Magnesium and Calcium are crude sedatives - without causing tiredness - purloin a combined supplement last thing at night. The vitamin B complex is also moral for nervous problems. I also found cutting out ALL caffeine has help a lot. I now drink decaff tea because even normal tea have a fair amount of caffeine in it. L-theanine is an amino acid which calm, but I found that it made me feel more depressed. It might work every now and again if you're going to be facing something stressful though. Hope you feel better soon.
