Is within mercury, front and other contaminants contained by Chinese tablets?
Specifically I am interested in taking "shen ling bai zhu wan" by Millenium manufacturer.

Best Answer: Virtually everything on this planet (including the river you drink and the air you breathe) has some mercury, lead, and/or other contaminants within it... that's why the EPA and WHO are in place to make sure that various products are fixed to just how much is in them. Any and all herb will have some very small trace amounts in them, but for the EPA, FDA, and WHO (among other element assurance organizations) to allow them to be sold in various countries, they must have below those "undisruptive levels" of the various contaminants for them to be sold. This applies to Chinese herbs, American herbs, Indian herb, and everywhere in between. One thing to note is that you should trademark sure you get your herbs from a good part company. I'm not sure of the quality level of Millenium myself, but you can certainly check to see if they enjoy a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the primary quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U.S., GMP is for the U.S. and worldwide). As long as they have perfect quality practices, you should be perfectly fine taking those regardless of the media hype. There are worthy things and bad things that come out of China just like at hand are good and bad things coming from various companies within the U.S., Europe, and other countries. It's always best to do your research on things like this before you buy them. ;-)
