For a few weeks very soon, my mouth have have a metallic savour...?

I seem to remember that it meant something approaching a vitamin deficiency or something. I'm not pregnant (VERY sure) and I see a dentist twice a year. Any ideas? I own been a bit stressed out, but nothing Horrible. What might I try to go and get rid of this? It tastes awful!

Can anyone distribute me their opinions/views something like the osteo-arthritis product 'Glucosamine'?

Answers:    If you've been lower than extreme stress, or have had former experience with post traumatic stress, (symptoms can trigger much later by 'mild' stress) it could be adrenaline that you're taste. It tastes like you've get pennies in your mouth. It has to do next to the adrenal glands overworking and is in the realm of an endocrinologist.

However..adrenaline doesn't customarily happen continuously, 24/7. This really should be checked out by a doctor, as the taste can be an indication of underlying issues.

If you're not on a well brought-up, woman's multiple vitamin, I'd consider starting a regimen, though vitamins can give a funny taste too. As a mouthwash, a single drop of 100% pure peppermint essential grease mixed in a couple of tablespoons of water will bear your mind off it. :)

Be well. :)

Is holistic medication lawful?

Mercury or organize poisoning are the main causes for a metal bite in your mouth, unfortunately Dentist still use Mercury Amalgum Fillings even though dentists refer to metal filling as ``silver,'' they are an amalgam of half mercury and the other half a mixture of silver, copper, ... so if you enjoy had a tooth filled lately, that could be your problem, anyway I would particularly have it checked out by a doc, also if your taking a vitamin supplement called selenium that would also wreak a metal taste. Hope this helps Alterations and/or distortions of the tang are called dysgeusias and can be caused by various things including certain diseases and disorders, drugs such as the antibiotic metronidazole and fillings. I would push for phoning NHS direct on 0845 4647 or contacting your doctor for advice. You will probably undergo a few test if the cause is not obvious, but this is conventional.

Any Naturopaths who can do email consultations please?
