Homeopathic treatment & Antibiotics?
Dear All,
I have a chazalion on the upper eye lide and on the lower eyelid. And i have be given baxin and few eye drops ( along with a vitamin B & C supplement). I have also be to a homeopathy doctor and she has given few medicines. Now I want to know if it is out of danger to continue my antibiotics & homeopathy medicine together ? As per my eye-specialist it is a stye and as per the homeopath it is not a stye and in recent times a inflamed tear duct.
Plz let me know your vision point.
Thanks,
ks
Answers: Since we don't know which medications and which homeopathic ingredients, I would suggest asking your homeopath. Anyone here will have a "best guess", but your homeopath can inform you for sure because they should have access to a database of drug and supplement interactions.
homeopaths have no (credible) training surrounded by anatomy or medical diagnosis.
If your EYE SPECIALIST (!) says it is just a stye, you should follow their direction. Generally speaking, however, styes don't require antibiotics, just warm compresses for 10 minute 3 times a afternoon.
There is no harm in taking homeopathic nostrums along beside antibiotics, as they have no active ingredients at adjectives. They are essentially placebo treatments. But why waste your money on over priced starch pills??
