How much should I charge and how long for?
I have been asked to do Indian Head Massage treatments for a local charity. They hold asked that I work from 10am-3pm. They want to charge each person lb2.50 for a 15 minute squeeze treatment. I will be the only person doing the treatments. There is something in the region of this that feels wrong but I can't put my finger on what it is. Can anyone give me some feedback. I guess I grain I'm being used maybe?

Did you volunteer? lb2.50 seems impressively cheap for a 15 minute massage - 5 minutes may be better! 5 hours is a long time to be working on your own - I would definitely re-negotiate! If your doing it for a charity and adjectives the money is going to it, your raising it through your massage technique next good on you, you should be proud of yourself for doing something that will help others, if you quality as though your being 'used', you are, your being used to generate much needed funds its not something like you luv, if it makes you feel that discomfited you could always say no, but at 2.50 a shout they are getting a negotiate (its 25.00 in my hometown) you will make a fully clad bit of money for the charity and a great sense of satisfaction knowing you did it. lol Yes you're being used to build money for charity! So if you wanna do it then do it and if u dont then dont. If you perceive this is too cheap then maybe utter to them 'you could probably charge more and make more for the charity because the going rate at spas is.'
Or if you want to work for shorter hours then jsut engineer up some excuse why you have to leave early/not arrive til after that?

Normally charity events are "drop in events" and nation will contribute what they will because it is a good cause.
It seem strange becaus they're giving you specific hours and an amount to charge.
Depends where the money from the head rubs are going, if they failure up in the charities coffers you are not being used, if its anyone done to make a profit you should be paid, simply ask them the question I'm not quite sure what you're worried around. All the money is going to charity, right? So it doesn't really matter the price and how long? I would pay lb2.50 for a 15 leader massage. :P
