Steroids Side-effects?

My nasal doctor gave me steroids to coat my nose and i dont enjoy a good reaction to steriods. my fiance be scared because of my reaction to steriods, and i accidently swallowed it because it slid through my trunk out into my throat
Now My tounge is purple,and my jaw hurts, my tounge burns, and im getting really weird moodswings. do you construe when i swallowed the steriods it went throughout my body?
