I enjoy a concern going on for an calamity I have near my braces...2nd post.?
I was eating today and my braces got caught on the bottom of my tongue right on the median glossoepiglottic fold (that's the splash underneath your tongue that connects it to the bottom of your mandibular. I looked that up before posting this question). I hurt really bad after I did it. I lifted my tongue and it be bleeding just a little bit. I took a Tylenol and it is not hurting as bad as it be earlier. The soreness is precollision gone but I have another concern. I have a piece is tissue, string close to from the colision that is hanging from the bottom of my tongue. It may be about a partly inch long. I don't want to pull it out for fear that I may start to bleed again. My ortho office is amazingly funny with scheduling my I am not sure if this is serious enough to have looked at right very soon or to wait until my next appointment. Serious responses only.
Best Answer: My braces be always hurting some part of my mouth. I have irretrievable scar lines on both insides of my cheeks that still get agitated every now again. You should phone and ask if you dentist has any advise. If they're not willing to endow with it over the phone then make an appointment (ask if there own been any cancellations). And for the time being just quit it alone. The mouth tends to take longer to heal because of adjectives of the moisture and irritants (food). So, give it some time. It will be annoying, but that piece of tissue should eventually fall off on it's own.
