Why do braces hurt so desperate!?
i just got my braces today and they felt in recent times fine but after a couple hours i was in a lot of agony. and all my teeth feel like they are going to topple out and the are numb to and the also feel like some one is pounding on them! I want to destroy braces forever! lol
Best Answer: They hurt because they are moving your teeth around inside the bone. This will probably end from two days to possibly a month. Take anti-inflammatories such as Nuprin, Advil, or ibuprofen. Also, put ice packs on your face periodically through out the year to help with the pain. Once your treatment is finished, you will be so positive that you had orthodontics, trust me. Good Luck

I GOT MY BRACES TODAY AS wELLL! they hurt pretty terribly, and whenver i try to eat anything i just similar to, start almost crying in pain. try to drink alot of milkshakes and smoothies, u'll be ok. itll go away surrounded by like, 2 days.
