They will numb the area first, next to me they used a kind of gel that tasted of bubblegum and was hot on the tongue. The plunger does sting a little, but not overly so, it is bearable, almost like the tip of somthing being pressed against the gum, but the gel lessesns this somewhat. Depending on where on earth the tooth that has to be pulled is, either on the upside or bottem of your mouth, they will either push up or down to free the tooth and later pull it. This does not hurt but is the most perculia sensation. Your gum will then bleed for a while after this untill it clots.
