A crown past its sell-by date one of my molars only fell rotten what should I do?
I was flossing my teeth when one the crowns I have over a back molar newly fell off. I called the Dentist and left a meesage asking him to telephone call me ASAP so I can get it fixed. Do you think he's going to want money to fix it? Its maybe just 3-4 yrs old. Will there be more fitting and drilling or whill it mostly just grasp glued back on.
What should I do in the meantime till tomorrow? I don't want to receive anything worse.
Best Answer: That is so annoying, those things shouldn't pop off after 4 years. It all depends what's going on in near. My friend had the same thing take place and the doctor told her the tooth had actually decayed and be soft under the crown, it couldn't be fixed. She had to get a partial. The solely thing you can do is not chew on it and be careful brushing around there.
