Is this experience tooth giving wreak for concern?
My bottom left gums in the very vertebrae are swollen and painful! I'm 16 and a half. They feel approaching there is a tooth under them but I can't tell. I chew over my mouth is too small for my wisdom teeth! Also it has been giving me problems for similar to 4 months but never has broken in. Is it my wisdom tooth and should I jump to the dentist? Could it be impacted? Do I need them removed? If so none of them have actually come surrounded by so what is it like to have all 4 cut out? I've never have an IV or blood drawn so what is that like??
it's definitely not gum infection. i have moral oral hygiene.
Best Answer: Yeah, you will probably need to get them removed soon, if they are starting to hurt. They can push your teeth out of alignment and cause your achiness and swelling. Some culture don't have wisdom teeth, it's rare, but you do! For my teachings teeth, my jaw was also too small. The doctors gave me an X-ray, confirmed the suitability teeth, and scheduled me for oral surgery. It was not a normal tooth-pulling procedure, I have to ACTUALLY get prepped for surgery. I had to fast for a hours of darkness. I went to the hospital, they dressed me in a gown, put a cap on my organizer, and pumped me full of sedatives, as well as told me to take sour jewelry, undies and use the bathroom. The doctor prescribed surgery, because 1) my wisdoms were still under my gums, 2) my mouth and jaws were too small for ordinary office surgery, there would be compications... and 3) he said with surgery tools, he would be own more access to the teeth because he could open my mouth wider. I woke up with stitches in my gums (all 4 be removed), a numb tongue that lasted for weeks because of nitpicked nerves, and a swollen face that last a few days. They gave me hydrocodone and told me to rest for a few days. I could not open my mouth all the instrument, they really stretched my jaw to the max, it was soooo sore. It hurt. Thank God for hydrocodone! It makes you sleep past its sell-by date the pain, and icing your face for a few minutes at a time feels awesome! If you're a weaken person, IV won't be too bad, it's easier to find veins. It's merely a pinprick, then you can feel the liquid flowing into your capillary. It's a weird tickly odd feeling that make you want to itch the area. Same with blood drawing.

Ok so ive chewed gum today, and i know im not supposto but wanted to see. And while i was chewing the gum got stuck on my retainer. So i took the gum sour the retainer. Now the part where the gum was made the member of the retainer rough.

I'd say wisdom teeth, but you need a dentist to make available a thorough exam. I don't know why they would need to draw blood, unless you have an already existing medical condition or they suspect an infection. Contrary to what another poster said, if it IS wisdom teeth (or tooth), they will want to come out or the pain could get worse, or they may distort or damage your other teeth.
