Braces or invisalign?
I'm going through the process of fixing my teeth, and im getting braces soon. But should I get invisalign instead? Which is better and why?
Best Answer: Depending on your problem and the skill of your orthodontist, they both work about the same. Costs change, but should not be greatly different. Braces hurt, are difficult to clean around, and are ugly. Invisalign's way more comfortable, and removed for ingestion and cleaning. As long as you wear them 20-22 hours per day they will straighten your teeth. If you don't wear them you've blown your money. I guess I'm biased 'cos I've switched to using Invisalign, but I had 25 years of using braces before that! Best of luck. Ortho85
