Best Answer: K let me tell you something. A root canal is not discouraging. It is a normal, good part of your tooth. What you are discussion about is root canal therapy (RCT) which is removing that root and wadding the space where it was with a padding material to keep the space. It is not ideal because when you own RCT you are essentially killing your tooth. This means it will become dry and more brittle and is more likely to crack than a live tooth. HOWEVER: not getting RCT when you hold an infected tooth is absolutely horrible!, when you need one of these you need it in the past your tooth is doomed, so make sure to get it done. They used to be really painful, and get a really bad reputation, but nowadays they don't even hurt really. Usually they are done to get ethnic group out of pain, not the other way round :)

Root canals are not bad and they are much better than the alternative which is have the tooth extracted. Extracted teeth need to be replaced and no replacement is as good as your own teeth. So if you need a root strait, get it and then follow up with the crown that wishes to be placed on the tooth after.Related Questions...
