Tooth sensitivity or cavity...or worse?

I just noticed today that my upper tooth(about 2 teeth over from my two main front teeth) is sensitive to my touch. It doesn't hurt, but when i cut into the inside i feel sensitivity. PS: today i ate a lollipop, which i haven't had in a while. Also, i used to own braces but i've had them off for a year with no sensitivity. What can this be?? Additional Details I juust brushed my teeth and it is sensitive inside and not outside the tooth. Also a piece from the bottom chipped past its sell-by date when i was messing with it.
Best Answer: from your sumptoms it looks like you enjoy a cavity or you have chipped the tooth making it sensitive. you have to visit the dentist to get hold of it filled. if you want to know about the filling materials you can pop in the following link http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-fillings-19.aspx
