I had a big hole in my tooth after the root canal items fell out, due to never getting a trilby placed on it. I recently went to the dentist..and they filled the hole next to tooth filling, and gave me antibiotics to rid the infections cause here was a bad smell along with it and bad taste. Now that the filling is done and im taking the antibiotics, i can still taste and smell the sent! and im guessing the antibiotics arent working...Can anyone inform me why the smell is still here?? could it be that they didnt clean the tooth out good enough b4 wadding it with the FILLING?? please let me know :(
Best Answer: Perhaps he just placed a intervening filling. Do you need to go fund and see him? If not I would give the antibiotics time to work (finish them) and if you are still having this problem get subsidise to him. Good luck
