I don't hold dental insurance. Any warning?
I have put off going to the dentist for years. I know its really dumb but I am a 24 single mother. Having my child go to the dentist and paying for what he needed have always been more important.
Long story short,
My front tooth be capped when I was younger after half it be knocked out. I also have two bottom molars (Same two opposite sides) that never have adult teeth grow in. Still have the child teeth.
My teeth are getting worse as I grow older. I need to take consideration of this but I still am worried about the money side of it.
If anyone has avice or info that would help please agree to me know:)

Dental insurance is not worth it unless you get it as a benefit from your employer. In other words, don'y jump out and buy a policy. They are good for an exam and cleaning. Beyond that, it is mostly out of pocket. In my practice, we offer Care Credit, which is a third party lend company. You get approved over the phone with a line of credit. When the work is completed, the bureau takes payment from Care Credit and you pay of the stability over 12 to 60 months. The interest rates vary depending on the pay schedule and some office pay the interest rate as a cost of doing business. Good offices will work with you to draw from your work completed. This is not to say they will do it for nothing, but your treatment can be scheduled over one to two years, so long as your mouth is stable, verbs and the treatment is moving forward. Princess makes a good point. If you live near a dental or dental hygiene institution, the fees are much lower. The treatment is optimal and done correctly, but it can often take many appointments to return with things done. Worth checking into though
