Why dont clear braces own a white chain?

Mine look about like that, but i was wondering, why wouldnt they in recent times design them with a white wire. I payed a little extra so that they wouldnt be so noticeable, but you still see the wire a lot. Just wondering if anybody knew...
Best Answer: because the metal contained by its natural color isnt white. The wire would have to be coated to be white, and that may affect the functionality of the braces.
