I enjoy a split contained by my front teeth that have re-opened?

I am 16 and I've already had orthodontic treatment via the NHS which has just finished. The work done originally closed a puncture in my front teeth, but within the first few months it gradually open again (I did *continually* wear the retainers as I did fear the gap would get bigger - but it did anyway, so the retainers wouldn't fit again anyway). a friend of mine have her teeth done on the NHS as well but her orthodontist put a small piece of metal behind her teeth because he knew they would split up again. I've put surrounded by a complaint because now I have a lisp and get bullied reasonably alot, and I got a reply today that told me I'd have to pay lb800 to hold the gap fixed privately, I don't have that much money, so I was thinking of visit my doctor about the lisp and how the treatment has affected my time. I was wondering if lb800 seems reasonable for this type of treatment?, or probably I'd be able to correct it for a cheaper price if I searched around. Thanks for your help!
Best Answer: You could ask your dentist to refer you to a dental hospital and see if they'd do your treatment. Unfortunately, simply major problems are fixed for free on the NHS - if your teeth are relatively straight otherwise, you'll most likely have to discharge. lb800 seems reasonable, but since it's private treatment, you should shop around.

wow! thats so unfair, try calling a bunch of doctors within your area and ask, but also, if your teeth shift so quickly, stick with wearing the retainer every dark :D
