I hold a really desperate toothache!?

i am having severe headaches and gum pain bcos i own a wisdom tooth growing. im in my 20s. Is there anything i can do to spawn the pain go away. i cant go to the dentist bcos its a extremely long hang around, and they prolly will jus say to leave it and charge me loads! please help me out. appreciation. thanks u guys...also my cheek is swollen... i dont want to go to the dentist cos they will say 'its nothing' until it get worst (thats the NHS for u). my dentists takes like a week or 2 to get your appt! i cant loaf that long!! Take ibuprofen. I had this for years - every 6 months it would start to move and last for 2 weeks or so. The last time I have it was 10 years ago although a Dentist told me I would have to have it out and it would never come through. It did come through and I have no trouble with it again but last month on a visit to a different Dentist, she said it have become loose and I should have it out. It has now gone and be a lot less painfull (apparently) having it taken out once it be completely through. If you are like me, there is little point in going at the moment anyway as you cant enlarge your mouth anyway!! I know exactly how it feels and sympathise with you. You can mix ibuprofen and paracetamol according to the chemist. I used to take them every 2 hours alternating as the cramp woke me in the night regularly. As you can only pinch 8 of each in any 24 hours, you may need to pinch both. Good luck

Hiya. Aw, you poor thing. I hate tooth ache it is one of my worst fears!! I would to some extent give birth again!! Depending on where you are there should be an emergency dental hospital that you can attend. They will do the work for you right away but they will charge you for it unless you are contained by receipt of JSA/Income Support etc. I would def look for your local dental hospital as it is a bank holiday this weekend and you dont want to be waiting until Tuesday to be pain free. The pain will travel over time. But some people actually need other teeth removed to allow these teeth to grow. This might be the effect of so much pain. Or you could have the wisdom teeth removed, but I estimate that's at a later stage. People say olive oil is the best, mop it onto cotton bud then rub around gum. Some say vodka too. There is some special stuff you can buy in a tiny tube which taste bad but is amazing stuff. Think it's hard to get though. Try chemist or a vigour shop maybe Chinese health shop. Sorry don't know the name. Good luck buddy, I know tooth soreness is like the worst pain.
