braces tomorrow i own a examine?
okay im getting braces tomorrow and i guess they put this huge thing on your tongue to keep your tongue away from your teeth and like whenever something is on the stern of my tongue i gag and it makes it worse that ill be laying down the complete time with that on my tongue. so i was wondering if you have have braces did you gag when they put it on your tongue and how long does it have to be on there for?
Best Answer: it is not that far back on your tongue plenty to make you gag- it is just so they can get the braces on contained by the front and sides (partially so you dont have to taste the glue) it is on for most of the process but most good orthodontists dispense you a few breaks in between so you can rinse your mouth out and take a quick breather
Answer: chill,it does not shift in the back of your mouth,they stick it right in the front,it is impossible for it to breed you gag nothing to be worried about trust me ok
