Do teeth turn ashen if they're not exposed to nouns?
I have always been wondering: If I would wear my retainers 24/7 and my teeth would not be exposed to nouns, would they turn yellow?
Best Answer: I'm guessing you have clear "essix" retainers. Well, heres what would happen. Those things are resembling trays, keeping your teeth there and also keeping whatever is in them right up against your teeth. SO, no, the want of air would not be bad for teeth by itself, but the fact that you couldn't maintain your teeth 100% clean would mean that the bacteria that produce sharp and wear your teeth would be in contact with your teeth for a long time! But if you wear them except for cleaning and eating, afterwards yes you should be fine:) The above would only happen if you really wore them for days at a time without taking them out, you know :)
