Can a dentist describe i smoke?

This summer i have smoked maybe 6 cigarrettes, and also smoked weed once(6 hits). I regret it adjectives and i understand it was wrong. Can my dentist report? My aunt is my dentist and i am worried she will tell my mom. I think im going to the dentist within like 3 weeks. Please help me.

p.s. i dont inevitability any lectures about weed, i understand its wrong to do.

Answers:    From a hygienists point of belief, there are a lot of signs that create suspicion, but no utter signs, aside from stain and smell! I don't want to tip you off, because I don't want to add to your crime (:)) but habitually, the staining occurs on the back side of the upper and lower front six teeth. Sometimes on the front of the upper two front teeth. Green stain from marijuana (tisk-tisk) can ensue as well...The gums are also affected, so at your age, inflammation and pocketing would sure angle my suspicions! She may be very curious!

I can tell you that if you smoked anytime thoroughly recently...I can smell it. Breath mints and perfume, etc...those just cover smoke. That smoke is IN the lungs, so only just merely breathing may reveal stale cigarette smoke. I've had many patients who's breath smelled of cigarettes even though they quit smoking some time ago. It be coming from the lungs, not the mouth.
