Can oral surgery lead to cheek twitching?

Ever since I had an implant within my upper mouth, when I smile my cheek and lower eye rapidly twitch.
This happens relatively often even if I'm not smiling.
I'm concerned because it started after the surgery and a year later it still does it.
I've read going on for inadequate sleep, too much caffeine or stress but none of these apply.
Is there another judgment?

Wisdom teeth removed?

Answers:    If I were you I would get my maxillary bravery checked.
