Dental freezing give me the shakes.?
Every time I get local freezing from the dentist, within second I shake. I'll shake like a leaf for going on for 10min or so. I know its probably from the epinephrine in the novacaine.
But is this dangerous? It other goes away, but it is concerning. Also, It numbs me up, then as soon as the dentist is finished working on me, and I sit up contained by the chair sever pain hits!! I imply 10 out of 10 nerve type pain. It last until the freezing wears off. As soon as the freezing is gone, so is the discomfort.
How weird is that?

Next time you see your dentist, ask him/her to use plain anesthetic ( short epinephrine ) this should eliminate the shaky feeling, though the anesthetic doesn't final as long.
This may be a good thing for you, though, since the discomfort you enjoy after the procedure ends with the freezing wearing off. Try taking for a moment ibuprofen before the procedure so that it is working by the time you are finished to help near the post-op discomfort.
