My dental hygenist didn't use polish?

I went for a cleaning this morning and the hygenist didn't use any polish on my teeth, just an electronic scrapey entry with water coming out of it. Is that ample?

Answers:    It's called a cavitron. And yes, it is enough. The cavitron will find rid of the tartar on your teeth. The polish is just to lend a hand remove any stains, etc. If you want your teeth polished, go back and ask is she can do it for you.
