Spacers?

I get my spacers on in give or take a few 2 weeks. I've heard that they're very scratchy. And I have to go to cheer military camp a few days after i get them on. I was wondering if here was any way i could dampen the amount of pain? I'm not very tolerant to discomfort. The dentist told me I probably wouldnt be able to eat for a while because of it, and cheering surrounded by the heat for 12 hours a day on no food is not fit. so does anyone know of any medications or anything that will help?

Answers:    Take some Tylenol or Advil near you. Also take or get a mixture of soft foods (eggs, apple sauce, pudding, jello, soup, yogurt, pasta, spaghetti-os, bananas). Of course drink plenty of water as well. If you are really have a hard time eating, capture some of those "old people" drinks, like Ensure. They contain lots of vitamins and minerals. (My doctors own told me to do this after I had oral surgery.) I would also suggest talking to your orthodontist and common practitioner. They would probably also have some good thinking. And don't take any chances. If you start sense unwell while out practicing and know you haven't been eating ample, take a break. Don't start again until you are feeling better. Good luck!

spacers are mortified, but being at camp will help out take your mind off of the aching. take some medicines resembling advil or tylenol if it really hurts. as for eating, when i had them i lately threw some food in the blender and drank it. cheering in the warmness for 12 hours a day on no food is not healthy. for more details plz stop by Http://healthcareb.blogspot.com
