What is the correct means of access of flossing?
Answers: I am attaching a good video showing flossing technique, but the key things to remember when flossing:
- arms length of floss
- compassionately wiggle the floss between teeth *NEVER push down directly into the gums*
- push floss tight against each side of tooth and graze up from just under the gums (where it is comfortable)
- use a verbs section of floss for each tooth so that you do not spread germs from one area to another
- floss at least once respectively day
- make sure to floss the rear of the very last tooth on respectively side, top and bottom even though there is no tooth behind it
Take a length of floss that you can wrap around your fore fingers [or middle fingers] and own about a 5 inch length to work with, work it surrounded by the gap and move it UP and DOWN! DO NOT move it back and forth as this does NOT get hold of rid of plaque it actually causes it to stick to the teeth even more!! Moving floss up and down *slices* [for need of a better word] plaque off your teeth! Take a length of around 20cm of floss, hold it either ending, put it between teeth and move it back and forth. Do this for every tooth.
