You meet your orthodontist. They will take x-rays... molds... pictures... everything. They will determine as much as they can of what should be done to your teeth. You might call for to get spacers before you bring back braces on... Spacers are just rubberbands between your teeth. You never really know they are there unless you mess next to them. You might need to get some teeth pulled (I have to have 9 baby teeth pulled and 4 grown teeth) Next they will start with your braces. First they will apply the cement... place the bracket on and UV light it to stick it. Once adjectives brackets are placed they will put the wire through. Once they hook your wire contained by you may get banded or you may get tied near steel. The steel is a lot stronger and maybe used if your teeth are really desperate. Mine were and they started with band but the brackets kept popping off so they had to tie it near steel. They can still put the bands on top of the steel to make the addition of the color if you want. Anyways your braces will be on once they are tied and they will explain everything that you need to do. Afterwords, you may get appliances. I have a bite opening appliance because I had a tooth grown losing another and when they put the braces on I could have bit the wire down. Anyway you might attain rubber bands and they will model the correct way to put them on and past its sell-by date and once you get the hang of it... it is not complex. They can be painful but listen to everything your orthodontist says to do and do it, it help. Thats basically it in a nutshell. Getting them sour is quite different.
