What Type of Retainer Is This?
I am getting a new retainer in a few weeks because my plain, standard retainer isn't working. I be told that this new retainer would look almost like a mouth guard, and it's highly similar to invisalign but instead of it being completely hard, I will own to warm the retainer up in melt water and bite on it for at least 5 hours a afternoon and all night. I am not sure what the exact label of this device is called, am wanting to know what the name of this retainer is, does anyone know?
Answers: The device you are referring to is call a "Tooth Positioner." It is used when braces come off a little rash and the orthodontist wants to fine tune your teeth and get them into a slightly more dependable alignment.
Good luck and congratulations on getting your braces off!
