Because kids are disrespectful, and they stick it underneath desks and stuff, and its disruptive when people pop their gum, or blow bubbles, and it takes away from everyone else's research. But personally I think it's stupid. What ALL teacher should do is let the kids chew gum as long as they don't do any of that stuff, and then if they do, gross them spit it out for the day, or class period. well first of all they can be stupid and place it everywhere after they're done and they can obtain the whole sick and it pretty gross but chewing gum can get the blood flowing through your person in charge and let you think better so it a shame how irresponible kids are at the present time! its because they arnt responsible with it after they are done and they tend to put it on the wall and they also put in beneath desks and that can cause many diseases to spred through the conservatory!
