Why do I gag whenever I try to brush/clean my tongue?

My teeth are super sensitive?


Answers:    you are going too deep into your mouth & dont brush after food immedatly.

Me too, and I don't brush to hard, its lately we have a great gagging reflex
The bleak stuff on your tongue isn't on the tip of our tongue though so you have to clean it alittle further down.
My doctor recommended using an current icecream stick each time to clean your tongue.

lol- i do that when im brushing my tongue when brushing my teeth.
its basically ur natural gag reflexes. its common.
try using a GUM brand tongue scraper. i use these. they are really helpful. idk if you can get them at the store or not. i gain mine from my dentist. good luck!

Yep, just a strong gag reflex. It help some people to breathe through your nose while you do it. :) its cuz your brushing to easier said than done,and your pushing your brush in to far. try to brush lighter, and youll be fine =]
