Does Calorie Shifting Work?
Like as in, eating so much calories a day, next one day allowing urself to eat more calories than u normally do, later changing calorie intake again...or something like that, Does calorie shifting really work?
A friend of mine went on a diet back, where she would eat 800 calories everyday, and then sunday would be her "cheat day" and she'd binge and devour anything she wanted, then monday she continues her 800 calorie plan, i dont see the point in this, is it really gonna work..i connote won't she be eating all those calories back sunday, which process she wont be losing weight?
Or will it be shifting her metabalism and confusing it so it burns more ?

Best Answer: I can say from experience that it works. I have one (when I'm really discouraging two) cheat day a week. Usually friday or saturday when my boyfriend and I go out to bars and such. I hold lost over 50 lbs by doing this, although I do not eat less than 1200 calories a day during the week. 800 cals is super low. even when dieting you shouldnt put away less than 1200 a day.
50 lbs lost, 10 to go.
