Am I OK next to fitness(teen)?
Well I know teens are supposed to get 1 hour of exercise everyday and moderate exercise 3-5 times a week. And they also recommend that you exceed this. Well I'm a 13 year old 5 feet 4 inch boy, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I enjoy 45 minute swim classes where I do all right in (not that suitable or bad). On Tuesday, Fridays, and weekends, I don't do barely any exercise at all. All I do is play with friends near video games, movies, tv, and sometimes walking around the neighborhood. But I only walk for around 10-20 minutes when we do and we play video games the whole hours of daylight. Than if they're not playing with me, I just play Halo 3 Xbox Live the whole light of day after I finish my homework (which isn't more than 1 hour). I am wondering how wrong or if I'm OK with fitness. Swimming is only for 45 minutes 3 times a week(not even 1 hour), and the other days I just totter with friends if I do. Btw I'm not that fat for several reasons. My parents aren't that plump, I don't drink any soda or munch on chips and ice cream like crazy, and besides that I don't know. Explain if I'm OK without 1 hour everyday.

A lot of teenagers get less exercise than you do, contained by fact, but it's true, this is really unhealthy. Your swimming is a very pious thing to do and enough for these 3 days that you're doing it. 45 minutes is fine. You're so young, I don't reflect on it's necessary for you to create an actual fitness plan for yourself, it'd be better if you just tried to be more active surrounded by everyday life. Examples are: Visiting your friends/going to school by bike (if possible) or going on little bike tours cause they can be fun (skating or inline skating is nice too), suggesting you and your friends play a winter sport outside, such as football or basketball, or going for a walk with a dog (if you have one). These mode of things should be fine, you don't need to keep track of how many minutes a year you are exercising, as long as you stay active overall.

I think your fine but on the days you do nothing, i assume you should atlest excersise like pushups or situps. Im a competor in gymnastics. I get nearly 1hour and 30 minutes of training. and anhour of practice. then on days i dont have gymnastics. i atleats run or excersises at home. Im very athletic.
