Any Workout Suggestions within Addition to These?
Okay, I'm 26 I'm 5'5" and I currently weight 126.0 pounds. I have already lost 6 pounds and intend to verbs dieting until I can get to my goal counterbalance of about 121. My typical workout routine consists of the following: I workout on the treadmill for 40 minutes daily at a brisk walking gait with a steep incline. Then I do a set of 10 plank exercises to work the abs, followed by 3 reps of 12 bicycle style ab exercises (where you are lying on your back and your elbows assemble your knees alternately). Finally, I work on my ab lounge with 2 sets 30 reps each on both sides (for obliques) and 2 sets 50 reps respectively basic crunch. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can work my abs harder (I'm really trying to achieve them flat) or any suggestions for if I need to add something or alter something in my workout routine? Oh and I do my workouts daily. Thanks!!
Answers: Its ceaseless,
You must have Muscle balance if you want to be contained by great shape!
So work all your muscles not just your abs,
as a thing of a fact if you only work abs minus working erector spinae muscles (lower back muscles) it can cause your posterior to arch since the tighening of the abs pulls you down..
And remember one thing 70% lies in nutrition and a pious diet.. Good luck
You need more repetition. Quadruple every exercise you have and throw contained by alot more cardio for weight loss. But also think just about it, would you rather lose 5 pounds, or tighten your abs and core so much it looks like youve lost 10 do some upper body strengthening/weight lifting to symmetry out your body
Core exercises are amazing for the abs
Try and take an abs class if you can at your gym. It definitely whip you into shape a whole lot better than exercising on your own. But if you can't try working them out consistently for a decently long interval, 20+ min. Sounds cheezy but conceivably an abs video may help.
As for losing weight, after give or take a few 30 minutes of exercise fatty acids become the main staple of energy. So you want to do a cardio workout for 30+ min to run rotten of fat. I'm in college for sports medicine and that comes from my anatomy book. Good luck.
