Carbs....?!?
im really confused. ok so i love bread & pasta & cereal and thats basically all i ate. afterwards i cut those out and i lose fat on my sides, belly area and dropped 2 jeans sizes. in a minute im scared to eat those again b/c looking at nutrition label it says 1/2 cup of pasta is 200 calories, i find that rediculous
-i dont see what the difference is between whole small piece pasta/bread..dont they have similiar calories?
-what kind of cereal should i munch through? obv avoiding kid cereal, but should it be made out of oats corn or wheat?
Answers: Your calorie intake should be somewhere in the 1600 range. A full cup of spaghetti is 400 calories, you still hold 1200 calories to go. A breakfast bar and a chalice of skim milk is about 65 grams of carbs, a perfect amount. Two peanut butter or lunch meat sandwich are also some 200 calories and 65 grams of carbs total.
The key the kinds of carbs. There's sugary carbs approaching from soda, chips, or candy, and white bread. These dump sugars into your digestive system too fast and the body can't metabolise them all so they are stored as hefty.
Complex carbs like whole particle spaghetti and bread, have the same amounts of calories. But near whole grains, the digestive system have to work to strip away all the layers surrounded by the "whole grain" to get at the sugars. The result is the sugars are released more slowly and the body have time to metabolise them, reducing the chance of gaining shipment.
Cereals of oats or wheat is good, corn is more starchy.
Introduce small portions of whole pellet carbs because they help with your bran needs and you know why!
Also - vegetables and fruits are actually a carb! With tiny amounts of protein.
Carbs are GREAT for you - we couldnt seize through the day without them, and YES you can lose or carry on weight by eating them - is adjectives about quantitiy.
Cereal - weetbix are good - rolled oats - they teem you up more than those sweet ones.
