Do i own to consume whey protein simply post workout or have it at any other time of the afternoon will back?

I go for a normal worlout since end 3 months but haven't seen any significant improvement surrounded by my body structure. I am planning to take whey proteins now. I workout singular in the mornings and have a well brought-up breakfast which contains eggs, milk, wheat products, etc.
I was thinking if instead of having the supplement after workout should i enjoy it in the evening?
Will it prove to be useful?
