Does the immediately debarred ephedra enjoy any more side effects than say aloud the antidepressants that are out very soon?
seems to me that |MOST medications that are out presently ...especially antidepressants and alot more meds have the same side effects.so why be ephedra banned and not these other meds..just wondering.anyone perfectionism to shed some light?
Answers: I'm not sure as to the exact reasons ephedra be banned. It could be that someone misused it and got hurt and in that was public pressure to get it barred. I can tell you that I use ephedra and have never have a problem. I use it responsibly of course. Anything can hurt you if you misuse it. There are many substances that are disallowed which are a lot safer than those that are legal. Just look at cigarettes. How oodles people have died from them, but they are legal because the tobacco companies contribute to the politician's campaigns, so they don't make illegal cigarettes. What about alcohol or many other medication. Even tylenol is dangerous if overused, it is very liver toxic, all the same it's legal.
I'd say the jury is still out on seriously of products and the FDA is just....(late as always).... in regulating or de-regulating. So empire become human guinea pigs, until there is a tragedy.
I agree that many, oodles other so called medications and herbal remedies own the same dangers the FDA claim Ephedra have.
ephedra has been shown to mete out fatal heart attacks in honestly young and healthy relatives.
