Help me! Weight loss?
Okay, here's the problem. I'm 15, 5'7'', and 123 lbs. So, obviously, I'm trying to loose weight.
Now, I've be running 2 miles every night, and trying to eat smaller number food, and healthier food. I've lost 7 lbs (I used to be 130) in the finishing 2 weeks. However, my mother is worried about me (I think she think that I'm anorexic or something- which I'm NOT) and keeps trying to make me guzzle more, saying, "Melanie, eat that ENTIRE PLATE of spaghetti, plus another entire serving and a milkshake, or you can't budge running tonight."
How to avoid this problem?
Answers: Well I think it's totally about self-possession:
Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt
Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)
Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet stick
Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios
Some other tips:
DON'T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT'S AMAZING
I recommend you coffee surrounded by the morning, it gives you a lot of perkiness! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)
Another thing is to drink green tea twice a afternoon, it burns fat and it's good for your form
And of course, do at least 50 abs per sunshine
Good luck
First of all, you're an ideal counterbalance. At your age and height, your body actually NEEDS deeply more calories than you think.
You're doing the right thing by consumption healthier foods, but you should not be eating "less" food because when your body is deprived of the calories that you inevitability, especially when you're running 2 miles a night, you'll actually be doing mar to your body; it'll cling onto every last calorie that you ingest and you may actually stop up gaining weight.
Try adjectives out fatty foods and sweets, eat plenty of fresh veggies and fruit, lean meats (chicken, fish, etc.) and smaller portions of carbs. Try alternating forms of workouts: instead of running every dark, do muscle-toning exercises or pilates/yoga on alternating days.
Oh geez. sounds like my mom... except her big kick right very soon is that I cant go running in the woods b/c its unsafe... I would merely eat until your full and then report your mom that you cant eat any more... and maybe run faster or longer but devour a normal amount. It is perfectly possible to lose consignment by exercise alone, it will be slower but you will lose more fat and tone more muscle. And no, you are not underweight, I am 5'7 and 120, trying to get down to 115 for cross country (I call for to lower my bodyfat and the only way is to lose consignment, now that i have gain the muscle i need). I would stop at 120 or so though, unless you are a competitive athlete then there is no purpose to weigh less than that. Say no top shakes say yes to 8 to 10 specs of water a day to assistance flush fat and also it will help the skin to own a nice glow and the food will taste better Don't ever skip meal just eat ample to get full heres a hint drink 8oz of hose half an hour before consumption this will giove you a full feeling
Your BMI is 19.3, which is on the very low side of fighting fit. BMI is a faulty measurement, sure, but it roughly errs on the side of people being heavier than they really are. No more dieting, and exercise for fun and fitness, NOT immensity loss. eat all your meal and snacks in front of her and take a long time ingestion them
you are too thin. Listen to your mom, she is right. UR MOM'S RIGHT.
