Help!gym apprentice!?

im 19 year old skinny guy and im planning to start going to the gym in a few weeks. i want to tone up and build muscles. specifically, i want muscles on my arms, chest, legs, thighs and i hopefully receive a 6pack. i want to get all these except i dont know any types of exercises to achieve all these. can anybody tell me the specific machines at the gym that i should use to attain all these things that i want? someone help me please!

ps: is it true that u can procure a 6pack just by using the treadmill??

Answers:    No, you can't get a 6 pack by of late using the treadmill..
The best thing you can do is use free weights to perform elementary compound exercises. If you've been inactive, you may hold to train on the machines at first, but, ideally free weights work better..

Hi. As someone merely about to return to the gym after a long lay off, I can appreciate your worries. My proposal would be to talk to the people that run your gym. Most (if not all) gyms extend a service to set you up with an exercise program that will target your exercises to achieve your personal target. Don't forget to take some advice on diet, too, as building muscle requirements food as well as exercise. To use a cliche, a balanced, respectable diet with a mixture of all food groups will give support to you when you start to work out, but if you really get into the 'gym thing', you may need to increase protein and carbohydrate intake to pass you body what it needs to make the exercise impressive.

Basically, if in doubt, ask someone, or you could end up doing yourself more injure than good.

PS using a treadmill will just help you burn fat. Unless you do muscle toning exercises as ably, you won't get that 6-pack you're after.

Tricks/excersises to flatten the tummy?


using free weights like dumbbells is the best agency to build muscle. so use free wieghts instead of machines where possible, especially when tyring to build your chest up.

as for getting a six pack, that takes time but you call for to keep your body fat percentage low so guzzle good, and the best thing to do is a few sets crunches respectively session

to build muscle mass use more weight but less reps, close to 3 sets of 8 reps with heavy solidity.

to tone though use lighter weight but do more reps

just google it and you will find loads of exercises you can do next to dumblells

you can always swim. swimming will give you toned muscles and work your entire body. Additionally it is moral cardio excersise. If you dont know how to swim, it would be a good idea to cram. Lifelong skill. It is always good to hit the weights too. near should be some sort of trainer at the gym that can get you start so you can learn how to use the machines. Anything associated beside running will give you strong abs (swimming too). In both parts it is essential. I would say surrounded by any sport. good job!

If you want to build muscles stay away from machines, forget how bodybuilders on steroids train...
look at powerlifters they preserve it simple lift heavy no machines
and stay away from the complicated... 9/10 times they hold much more muscle mass than any of the "normal" clean bodybuilders who spends all their time on isolation exercises.

All you call for are these exercises:
Squat - works about 90% of your entire body in one single move -packs muscles on your entire body(also arms) and release growth hormones resembling no other exercise. you wanna do that or use 10 different isolation exercises.
Deadlift
Benchpress
Barbell rows
Standing Military Press

assistance exercises(not a must as new): any kind of ab work, barbell curls, dips, pull-ups/chin-ups.

compound exercises that allows you to lift creamy weights and pack on muscles and get strong.. simple as that. check out the links below.

okay yes u can get a 6 pack by cardio any cardio burns the stout but situps and whatever leg lifts merely makes the muscles bigger and protrude more but u need the cardio to build the 6 pack for arms and chest just bench press and do butterflys(when u pull ur arms across) legs do squats beside weight leg lifts on the domestic device calf raises with consignment like pulling a weight up while its strapped on ur leg but running is best for ur legs use he egg-shaped it will help ur six pack and legs well go underwater roping also helps and for arms pull ups are biddable lat pull downs bench press bicept curls if u dont know wwhat these are ask a person who works here or look um up sorry but too hard to relli explain um all next to out a picture do some squats and arm curls.

and if running on the treadmill means six pack, and should be getting one soon.it could be true, sorry idk.
