How do you find life and motivation to work out?
I want to start losing some serious weight and get fit but I scarcity the motivation to go and DO IT. The gym is easy access, its a 3 min wander down the street, but I get bored easily next to it. And on top of that, im always tired. I longing I had the motivation to just catch up and go, but I feel close to heavy weights are pulling me down ):
Btw, im not overweight. Im healthy, I only just have some small extra weight around the thighs and butt and I denial muscle. :/
Answers: Try cross training and switching things up. for example, try training through the standard tredmill, weights, etc. for some time and then change it for something fun resembling tennis, soccer, biking, or even swimming. The change will keep things interesting.
Music while working out is other helpful. As far as energy, generate sure you consume enough protein and nutrients throughout the day. If you're short some nutrients, you may be even more tired. If you find yourself still tired, you may want to try working out before work, as i know a lot of gyms own showers there (or you could just be in motion back to your home--it sounds like it's close)
Perhraps not focus on the "work" side of things - do it tends to make physical distraction a chore, not something enjoyable.
Find something to do, that you find fun & interesting - something that you won't get bored of well..
Cross training is a great idea as well, as it keep life interesting.
Or set yourself challenges - contained by terms of intensity & duration.
A goal for respectively particular exercise session, gives it some purpose.
I in reality find the more I go to the gym, the more motivated I get, especially as I perceive results. Some days I may be too tired. On those days I give myself an "out". I tell myself that I one and only to go to the gym for 15 minutes and I can leave if I want. But once I'm here and get going, I'm energized and usually stay. I plan out a schedule of when I'm going to jump and I tell myself that I HAVE to go. I also contemplate about how good I be aware of after I work out and how I have more muscle and shape since I started. That keeps me motivated.
BTW, your liveliness should increase once you start working out. Maybe you should include more fruits and veggies in your diet. Those also give you vivacity.
eat low carbs high protein, drink green tea 3 times a morning, whey protein before and after workout work out infront of a mirror, I do it and you see the difference so you want to work out more... But thats just me.
