Answers:    It totally depends on the day but I always try to preserve it around 1400 or so.

Some days I have more and some I have smaller number but I usually exercise a bit more on days where I go out to get through at a restaurant or something.

To lose weight, you should eat around 1200-1500 and exercise a short time. Go for a 45 minute walk or even better a jog at tiniest 5 times a week and you'll see a difference soon depending on your starting weight.
