Is it OK for a 13 year ripened to lift up weights?
I have be lifting weights for over 3 months now.
I lift 80 pounds maximum and those keep telling me to stop because I will not grow (My loftiness is 5'3).
Is that true?
Answers: You should be fine. You will continue to grow, it's probably because they are afraid you will hurt yourself. I'm 14, and used to very rigorous training contained by Tae Kwon Doe, and some weight-lifting, but bro, I'm still growing, lol. Be careful lifting weights, have fun near it, and don't let rumors scare ya!
How long do I call for to workout at gym?
what those folks are saying is total crap. exercising produces HGH(Human Growth Hormone), no matter what type of workout you are doing. hang on to lifting those weights, but remember to lift only the weights you are competent to work with, you're goal is to train, not to strain. so anyway, it's not true that lifting weights would stop you from growing, conceivably they're just worried about an fluke or something.
there was an incident at my institution where some kid was lifting weights that be too heavy for him to handle, and he completed up dropping it on his face, busting his jaw sour. he had to be lifted onto a helicopter and flewn to a contiguous city up north. ended up getting a couple hundred stitches. doctors say if he have dropped the bar an inch lower or higher from his strike zone, he would hold died. It is absolutely ok, stunted growth from weightlifting is a complete myth. In fact, weightlifting in fact improves posture and flexibility, and of course your strength, and muscular nouns.
Just make sure you don't workout the same muscle soon after another. You can workout everyday, but workout different muscles on different days.
For example:
Monday-Arms
Tuesday-Chest
Wednesday-Legs
Thursday-Arms
Friday-Chest
Saturday-Legs
Sunday-Arms
You should be consuming lots of protein to see the best muscle results, but don't eat more than 1 gram of protein for every pound of your weight, that may be a bit much, although plentiful bodybuilders do eat more.
Other than that, make sure you sleep very well, for 7-8 hours, eat a healthy diet, drink lots of hose (8+ cups), and if you decide to start cardio that would be fine.
EDIT: Here is a great site to help you workout your chest, next to lots of chest exercises, and how to do them properly:

Hii...How Can I lose Inches Of My Hips And Waist...I want to lose 4inch of respectively =]?
No. It's not true. It's perfectly safe and in good health as long as you're lifting weights properly. ALWAYS use perfect form. If you can't, then run the weight down until you can. I'm guessing that the 80 pound max is on the bench press. As long as you're using the right form, you're not training more than 3-4 times per week or for more than 45minutes to an hour each time, you'll be fine. I'm glad that you're interested contained by weight training. It's a great hobby and can teach you greatly in time. Yes, and actually it is worthy for 13 year olds to lift weights because ur going through puberty, and if u work out and be active during puberty you'll grow taller fairly than not working out during puberty. Just don't lift weights that are too heavey, and don't hoist weights while standing up, because it will put stress on your back, but other than that u should definetely work out, progress swimming, go running, go biking, raise weights with no weight and a great deal of reps, it will help u grow, since ur 13 years old and are around to go through a growth spurt, if ur not going through one already
Looking for a abdominal exercise piece of equipment?
That's fine.
Just be warned of the following:
a) Excessive substance concern can lead to other important issues such as anerexia or bulimia.
b) Make sure you cart breaks, giving your muscles time to grow. A lot of people get over-involved in the fact that if you stop lifting weights for a week or so you'll loose it adjectives.. no no no. TKAE BREAKS otherwise you'd be taking 3 steps forward and 4 steps back.
Good luck, muscle man!
What is a wadding food that doesnt?
Exercise is good for you, but yes 2 & a partially hours every day is far too much!! It will affect all the bones that are anyone loaded.
Some of the schools here were told to use up the amount of books that were needed for homework. Because the weight of files being carried home was going to do lastingly damage to the kids backs
On second thoughts beside what you are trying to do
YOU ARE being Stupid. Why don't you get a vivacity !
But your parents probably think its better then you anyone out of your head on drugs.
How much muscle will i gain if i try using swimming as an exercise plan to lose substance?
lol they say it stops your growth but that not true i started lifting weights surrounded by 7th grade and now im 19 im 6'1 taller next both my parents and now I bench 315 lbs and it has help out me in sports and help me stay surrounded by better shape. so lift weights and get resembling me I started at 95 pounds i never heard of that, but in my classes it said you shouldnt work out until youre at tiniest 16, because you're growing, and your muscles are growing too, and if you work out and build muscle, you'll just lose it in a few years.
but excercising and work outs are fine, basically not weight lifting
No, and you can actually get faster your development by the increased levels of hormones man release.
However, keep your reps average and stay with moderate workouts, you're infantile and have plenty of time to develop the body you want. There is no need to overextend yourself.
resourcefully i hope not ive been lifting since i was resembling ten with my dad. light stuff, but lifting adjectives the same. and im six foot at fifteen, so i doubt theres anything behind it. ask your doctor at your subsequent physical. but believe me, whether youre tall or not, getting ahead with lifting immediately will deff help you out with the ladies following haha =] My dad used to tell me that, and i held off till i be about your age. if your allready going into puberty you should be ok. Im now 5'8 and going up, if you be ment to be short you would already be short. :)
well my coach use to tell us that no it won't stunt your growth but it will raison d`¨ētre more strain on your muscles and that'll eventually keep you from getting stronger. Something about your muscles not fully developed for lifting weights. Well, you should keep on til after puberty to start lifting (if you're not over that) and even then you should probably start out with Cardio
Do I have need of to loose weightiness?
Whats wrong next to being short?
Also I've never heard this since. It seems to me that as long as you eat right along next to lifting you should be fine. They are probably just trying to make excuses for themselves to not work out.
Weight almpst 11 months ago I have child.?
Sounds approaching rubbish to me.
You probably want to not try to lift too much at your age, as your joints are still growing a developing - but within is no evidence as far as i know that suggests you wont grow.
Nice stomach for 14 year dated?
yes, it's OK.
eat well and help yourself to multivitamins and you'll regain the calories lost from exercising.
nope. some say it will stunt your growth. its better when your a bit older, you can lift up some wieghts sporaticaly, but not like everyday for an hour. if you lift too much weightiness it will shift your growth plates and you will not grow start off with a small cargo then increase
I'm 15 and I've never really be competent to do pushups. Is that strange?
You can lift weights, the population who told you that little bit of tripe, need to go fund to school. Good luck!! Stop lifting because it can stunt your growth by making your muscles that are still developing all strange and over worked. You need to focus on growing at your age or u might be 5'3'' forever.
How much cargo do you consider i'll lose a week?
Well, I don't know if that's true.
But yeah, I'd say that's fine if a 13 year infirm lifts weights. I don't think at hand should really be an age restriction for them. i lift weighs and i havent stopped growing and the guys at my scool are 14-15 and HAVE to move up weights evry day cause or football so i reflect on its ok GOOGLE it!
How copious calories does thinking burn?
kinda yes but kinda know you will still grow but not as much im 5'8 and ive been liftin weights eversince i was 12 years matured im 15 i can lift 180 no it's not true. if you can lift that much in need hurting or straining your muscles then good for you! lifting weights have nothing to do with how high you grow
How much do you devise this girl weigh?
You'll stop growing. At least I did. You're only 5'3, so stop working out and try and obtain as tall as possible first. yup, just remember to stretch and dont overdue it and hurt yourself.
and you will still grow, thats silly.
Can you bruise if your not intake satisfactory? minus bumping yourself?
you shouldn't really start lifting weights until you're 16 NO! tht aint true
im 13 2 i erect LIGHT weights lol
but my brother is 14 almost 15 he is shorter then u and can lift alot he have the same problem as my dad !! just endow with it time youll grow =]
It is perfectly fine for someone your age to lift weights. A lot of relatives don't work out, so good for you. =) woah buddy... weights are fun and give you "the look" but hang around till you are 17-18 to do them.
