Overweight?? call for guidance ...?
Im 16yrs old (Female) and i am 5ft6'' and I weigh 140lbs
I play alot of sports and i swim alot
And Im gerenally fit but.
Am I overweight ?
And how much weight do i inevitability loose??
Answers: you are not overweight, if you are an athlete you are probably more muscular than the average and muscle weighs more.
have a full medical near a good doctor and see how your blood sugar and so on performs. you may get hold of reassurance from that.
I was the size you are when I was within my 20s and I was Australian size 10(American 6 I think) with a larger top, so if you are that size you are incontestably not fat. And like you, I exercised a great deal.
Still do, but children and half a lifetime have given me an extra 25lbs, and yes I am overweight presently. But still otherwise fit. Says my doctor.

124 - 155 is the recommended wholesome weight for a female 5'6" according to Weight Watchers. At 16 man athletic, the number on the scale is much less impressive than how you look and feel. A muscular 140 looks much more fit than a 'soft' 140.
Just make sure you sort healthy food choices, lots of protein, complex carbs, fruits and veggies, water, and avoid second-hand goods as much as possible.
It sounds like you're only 10 pounds overweight.
With adjectives the activity you do, it could be muscle.
If that's the case afterwards no you aren't over weight.
If you want to look leaner, I suggest aerobics, gymnastics, or dance.

you are far from over weight !! conceivably u dont look like barbie but u are perfect! also everyone bone structure is diffrent .. NO - you are not overweight - I would singular loose 5 lbs
