What are some robust graceful meal to prepare for a Family diet?

Must include these things for the whole family (kids & adults):
1. Easy things to find within supermarket.
2. Family feels "needy" if they don't have meat at dinner.
3. No crazy ingredients, a short time ago REAL food.
Any advice?

Answers:    2 good ones for my household of 7 are
1 - Grilled boneless, skinless chicken breasts.(We always grill several pounds at a time to use later!) Can get through with anything! Grill some pineapple and fresh corn on cob, then generate a fresh salad with your favorite greens and veggies...
2 - Tacos/ taco salad
You can use leftover grilled chicken if you hold any! I brown the hamburger meat (we eat venison, which is virtually fat free) after drain in a colander and rinse the remaining fat beside hot water. Add seasonings and some water and simmer. Chop lettuce, tomato, onion, boil up some fat free re-fried beans, use whole wheat tortillas, label some fresh salsa and wa-la! *Don't have to use cheese but if you do, use it sparingly.

What should I put away?


Baked salmon or tilapia with sickly squash or asparagus.

I bake the fish with slices of lemon, saline, pepper, and sometimes a clove of garlic.
