no, to gain muscle use to highest amount of weight you can but still save perfect form and squeak out 5 or 6 reps. rest 20 secs in between sets. do upper body sooner or later and lower body the next. up your protein intake and make sure you are getting ample calories. if your sweat smells like ammonia, you are burning protein, cut back on the workout and up your carb intake. I really appreciate everyone's point of judgment. I too have my own and it certainly worked for me.
