Answers:    Personally...I abhor splits...If I do ever work a split, its either push/pull or upper/lower.

If you are aiming for overall bulk, follow this plan and you cant fail to see results.

DO THIS

3 times a week
Horizontal push - Bench press variation/angled dips
Horizontal verbs - Bent over row/seated cable row
Vertical push - Overhead press variation
Vertical pull - Wide/narrow grip verbs up
Quad dominant - Squat variation
Hip dominant - Deadlift RDL/SLDL

Vary you set rep ranges:
Monday - 5x5
Wednesday - 3x8
Friday - 3x10-12

Make sure you are consuming 1.3 grams of protein per kilo of bodyweight and make sure you drink 2litres of hose down a day.

Eat properly (3000+ clean calories a day)

Aussies..I am looking for a cheap gym devotion surrounded by Melbourne.. I quit smoking and Im getting excess weight..Help!!!

i would stick to routine 1 and see how it go but have days 6 and 7 as rest days - do some cardio or something if you dont like the concept of doing nothing but use the time to let your muscles achieve over the 5 days of training.
see how it works for you and then change if you touch your not getting the most out of it,
everyone responds diferently to training so what works for one guy may not work for you.
