Answers: Eat carbs the night before, because they are your body's source of long occupancy energy. The day of the workout, try and hold protein, because it is your body's source of short term energy. Do not enjoy sugar or overeat before you lift or you will cramp up.
DONT devour sugar, that is a horrible suggestion. you should have some protein, sometimes i devour a whole grain english muffin near peanut butter because it keeps me full, but its not a lot of food so it wont interfere next to the workout.
edit- somebody said sugar before, i guess they changed it haha. dont eat earlier a workout, you'll get a stomachache and it also draws all the blood to your stomache when your muscles obligation it
It depends on how long your are planning on working out. For a short work out carbs will do. If you are working out for more then 1 hour you also need saline. complexm carbs(whole wheat products) or fruit, maybe something like yogurt that have a little bit of protein. my advice tho is try to stay surrounded by the 100-200 calorie range!
