Why does this happen?
why when the scale is on the mat its less? but when its on the not easy surface (tile floor) its more?
when i checked my weight on the floor it says: 245 pounds.
when i checked my consignment on the mat it say: 227 pounds.
can someone please tell me whats best... hows the best bearing to weigh myself. on the hard surface or the mat?
thank you
Answers: Hey,
Easy! Don't weigh yourself, it will only depress you. Alternatively stick to the mat!!!!

Think of the go up as a spring, that shows your weight by measuring the amount it get compressed by your body weight.
If you put the scale on a mat, the mat itself also act as sort of a spring, compensating some of your weight by doing so, and the "spring" of the scale will be compressed smaller quantity, resulting in the display of a lower weight.
I'm not sure exactly why, but it could own something to do with the mat softening the pressure of your weight, whereas the floor is not easy and just takes it as it is. That is drastically strange, though. I'd use the hard surface number, unless you can prove it otherwise. The mat (carpet) throws off the reading significantly, I'm too tired to attempt to explain.
Use it on unyielding floor, it even says that in the directions on the mount box/paper.
depends on the type of scale that you have. If you enjoy a scale that you touch first and then it calibrate (zero's) itself you are probably getting inaccurate readings from have it on the mat or carpet. When it is on a hard surface you can gain the most accurate results. On the mat the weight may not be evenly distrubuted.
put one half on the mat n one partially on the hard surface and see what it says, x You entail to calibrate your scale on one surface and then use it on that surface every time.
i meditate your obsessing about your cargo abit too much to even figure out those differences.. the mat obsorbes some of the weight
the scramble sinks into the mat and absorbs some weight in good health when you are checking on hard surface it is more likely to be truth.
