Working out, watching calories, and STILL acquirement counterbalance!?!?

I am overweight. Not just a little, but greatly. 2 young kids, depression from becoming widowed at 29 and a thyroid issue don't help the situation. But I've taken responsibility for getting natural again and am having problems. Knowing that I am less than motivated, I enrol in a fitness class at the local community college. So if I don't show, if affects my grade. I spend an hour 4 days a week doing partially moderate cardio and half toning excercises. Also I'm keeping my calories at about 1400-1800. So I've get to wonder WHY in the two weeks I've been at this... own I GAINED 5 pounds??

I feel better, am less tired and hold a bit better stamina than I did when I started, but otherwise am very frustrated.

Any ideas would be agreeable. My doctor and teacher both say to newly give it more time.

Thank you for your time.

What is my Body Type? (Picture)?

Answers:    1: Stress. It WILL get you to gain counterbalance.Be more relaxed, and go with the flow , if you aren't already.Your situation doesn't aid,but just try.

2.Muscle is "heavy." You could be purchase muscle, not just getting fatter.Try & flex yourself to see.

3.Your doctor&teacher are right.Give it some time :]

Not much aid,but hope it helped a little x]

Taller???

Diet, and exercise you are already doing exercise, but by watching ur calories it sounds similar to you're still eating the same stuff, but watching how much you get through of it. that is really bad, you obligation to go all instinctive, especially since they're bring out all the organic, raw foods now. Get yourself into eating able-bodied and the exercising will join in and it'll be worth your while I'd listen to your doctor and tutor.

My guess for your gain of weigh could be due to MUSCLE you've put on. It really takes time to burn off plump. Once you've been doing this for a longer time, and you start increasing the cardio, that's when you'll see a drop in weightiness. Stick with what you're doing and don't worry.

Should I lose mass first afterwards work on muscle mass or the other course around?

Maybe you've gain muscle? Could be muscle. I'm not a fan of "controlled, scientific exercise and dieting". If I want to lose freight, I cut fast, and then purely pick some physical activities (4 mile jogs, 2 mile swims or mix it up and other in the mornings.) and some basic resistence (push ups, dips, verbs ups, some jump rope maybe a kettlebell) and walk back to sensible eating. I.e, none of that bulk watchers, calorie counting 6 meals a day crap. Some meat, some veges, some fruit and some potato or bread for carbs and lots of wet, once or twice a day. Unless you want to look like a fitness model, its not a complete lot of work to get in shape.
Also, I will join that lack of sleep, and overwork or stress is going to not only affect you by central you down an unhealthy lifestyle road, but also just make your body feel like cast-offs, which makes it hard to lose cargo and be healthy.
